You posted atypical Bulgarians. 1st one looks Albanian and the last one looks like someone from the Caucasus.

they don't look that atypical compared to the rest of the bulgarian football team. But how much of Bulgaria is actually "ethnic bulgarian" these days. It seems like you guys have people from everywhere.

Biggest reason I asked is because Bulgarians always comment on the overlap between ukrainians and bulgarians, but when I look at the bulgarian football team and other bulgarians I see very little overlap.

can you post examples of some pontid bulgarians? since that's supposed to be your most common phenotype.

Albanians have the same problem ukranian, people from everywhere, why portray themselfes as part of the majority ethnic group.

I'm just saying the 1st and last guy don't look very Bulgarian to me. Number 2 and 3 have a more Bulgarian look about.

The Bulgarian football looks like it has many mixed people like alot of other countries. I think our volleyball team is a better representation of how we look:

yeah maybe you're right. definitely see more overlap with them, but you guys are much more hardcore med looking.
