Silistra. “In many places in Romania Bulgarians are afraid to confess their origin and develop it,” said Ivaylo Angelov, chairperson of the Future 2008 – Silistra Foundation, in an interview with FOCUS News Agency.
“The major goal of the Future 2008 Foundation is the establishment and development of contacts with the Orthodox and other Bulgarians in Wallachia, i.e. in South Romania and North Dobrudzha, since the Banat Bulgarians at this stage are better distinguished among the Bulgarian community. Our major goals are connected to getting acquainted with the problems, as well as with the specific character of the development of this Bulgarian community and respectively we seek ways and variants to help them recover their Bulgarian identity. The localisation of the Bulgarians in Romania itself is very easy task, it is harder to find ways to make this community re-discover their Bulgarian roots and develop them further in the future,”
Angelov commented.

So, on top mistreating Hungarians, the same thing is done with Bulgarians. :mad:
