She looks fully European.

Actually, she is FULL Egyptian. I guess if she is a bit lighter, she could pass in Southern Europe.

Yeah, that's why I edited the fully into very, because fully suggests that she is actually European, sorry. ;)

What I meant was that she has a very European look.

Yes, obviously :)
You won't find this type of look in Southern areas.

Lower Egypt is a Med area having a long history of contact with Romans and Greeks. I won't be surprised if her look is uncommon there xD

Alexandria was a Roman colony built by Alexander, also there was a Roman colony in southern Cairo named Saqqara (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saqqara). I wouldn't say they left huge genetic shift in the Egyptian population, but some intermarriages might be common at that time. Cleopatra was 1/4 Egyptian and 3/4 Roman.

Yeah Lower Egyptians have some Roman and Greek ancestry, but not much. The girl just looks S. European probably because she is a Med like most S. Europeans. It's a Pan-Med look perhaps.

I agree with you. Here is another girl from Alexandria, i think she is also Pan-Med.

One of my friends, Farah, looks not too dissimilar and she is Lebanese. I always thought she looked Italian or Greek.

The Pan-med look makes here pass in any country on the Mediterranean. Usually coastal Egyptians have less SSA admixture compared to their southern counterparts.

Southern Egyptians are somewhat similar to Sudanese right? And are Nubians the same as Sudanese?

Actually the SSA in Egypt is from the Sudani side, not East-African side. Although, some Egyptians can pass in Horn Africa, like this footballer ElMuhamdi
