On Roma Bal (Roma Festival), the 16 year old Andja Gasi was elected "prettiest" Roma Woman 2012 on the first such Event in Montenegro.

Looks like they chose the whitest-looking one. Not the most comforting message to all the Gypsy girls out there. Don't get me wrong - she is pretty, but upon hearing Gypsy beauty, I would imagine a more ethnic-looking type of beauty.

third and second winner look ethnic. and just because she doesnt look ethnic doesnt make her less roma.

miss roma international 2003(?) i think was won by a ethnic looking Girl, most other roma peagants are won by ethnic looking Girls. im not sure if roma international is still around though, couldnt find it on the net anymore

im sure there is room for lighter pigmented Romas too. should lighter pigmented Romas be discriminated by darker pigmented Romas? not all Romas are dark
