As far as I can tell Swayze appears to be an American-Anglicized German or Dutch name.

He could pass for an Englishman imo. He is mainly Colonial English ancestry, and I suppose with some other Celtic fringe Isles and perhaps German, Dutch or French Huguenot thrown in there. Overall, I'd say he's Bruenn.

I can definitely see his overall British Isles Bruenn influence more so as a younger man, he might even be partially Atlantid too.

Swayze doesn't sound Anglified Dutch. The name is interesting though.
But, yes, who knows. Perhaps Anglified German ?

Possibly Keltic Nordid with Bruenn influence?

Although the surname "Swayze" is of Welsh origin, the family "is of mainly Irish descent (possibly with some Apache roots)"
God bless Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Swayze). ;)

He doesn't look Apache to me, more of a British Isles Dalofaelidized Bruenn.

For some reason I'm having difficulty placing him in any specific part of Europe apart from the Netherlands or Germany. I'd agree with the Faelid look and maybe some Atlantid.

As for the surname Swayze, I don't recognise anything similar in Welsh. it appears that this surname may have Norman origins.

I agree with the general opinion: Pred. Faelid, minor influences not excluded but overall Faelid.
