Initially I thought Indians are not Racist and Caste is based on occupation etc. but I think there is also racism. The Mongoloid People are called Chinks and they are not recognised as Indians. Also very Dravidian/Black Skinned looking Australoid People are looked down upon and Nigerians reported to have been harassed by the Police and viewed negatively if they mix with Indian women.

Is Racism/Casteism in India based on Looks or on Education and Occupation(Caste etc.) and maybe how wealthy you are. What if you are poor and uneducated but look very indid? Would Romas be discriminated in India they are very indid People and have very northwestern Indian look, they are found out in some studies to be of Kashmiri Pandit and Punjabi and sometimes jatt origins. one study who compared their ydna said they are of low castes but from low castes of northwestern india, autosomal however showed them to be high caste. however they have very northwestern Indian look. Im curious if they would be discriminated?
