Well genetically Sardinian is more like Portuguese and Spanish than it is like Sicilian and Calabrese.

So I am essentially 37.5% Euro East Med (Siculo-Calabrese), 37.5% Euro West Med (Portuguese and Sardinian) and 1/4 Slavic.

Because of his Brit ancestry. Even though it's not much it's probably recent enough to affect on his phenotype. Like North Italians who plot south of Spain but look lighter than them cause of more recent Central European admixture.

Yes, he can because getting Italian citizenship by ancestry is quite easy compared to other countries.

But you can not just acquire any nationality by simply having some ancestry. For example, Sikeliot can not get Portuguese citizenship because his ancestry is too distant.
