Many members of The Apricity can be considered (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?11851-TEST-Religion) Humanists.
I think it's a great opportunity to celebrate it!

Humanists, motivated by secular or religious (which maybe empathy and natural ethics or the intrinsic value given to people by god respectively) reasons, are welcome to post literature, citations, music, films that expressive these views.

You may use any definition of Humanism widely used in different contexts, where by in large Humanists tend to value people as individuals, emphasizing their needs, interests, abilities, subjective experiences (emotions, desires, etc) and responsibilities as Human-begins towards each other.

I'll kick off with Asimov (which presents Secular Humanism), continue with another video which concerned and still concerns many of my Jewish friends who shared love to both humanity and their particular backgrounds, the homosexual atheist Rabbi Sherwin Wine, founder of Humanistic Judaism.

Asimov on Humanism (Secular Humanism, on the defense. Still it's Asimov. Something similar but more positive will be appreciated )
