My plan is to leave my 370 sq meter apartment in a few years and buy a huge home with lots of land (over 20,000 sq meters) to grow my own food and to get more privacy from my neighbors. I'm getting tired of these urban sprawls, with thier strip malls and highways all around me.

Be more specific. Give examples please.

Well speaking in general it means traditional families or modern, there are many examples how you can define traditional families, members of the family are more related to each other and not that much individualism among them, parents take decisions for kids and somehow controle their life before they create their own family, than families are strictly hetero, getting divorced is a serious issue, also the way of weddings, clothes, music etc, there are a lot.

In traditional societies moral is serious issue, virginity, respect, religion(partly), taking care of your parents when they get old.

In Balkans there are still tendencies to keep traditional values all I mentioned above. Concrete example is that albo tradition when you have to 'pay' about the bride which in fact is financial support for the wife if they get divorced.

Than we have traditional and modern societies, in modern societies we have liberalism, individualism, gays are equally accpeted, mixed races also than globalization in art, music, movies which actually are more american.

My opinion is something in between, there are things which can be combined, there is impossible in this time we to live in traditional societies.

I don't think we should go back to old times. We've received many "upgrades" to our lives, that we now consider as a given. Yet, we can benefit from retaining some old values that worked. We need to progress ... it is normal in life.

I think this "progress" just weakened the people. What did the research of Monsanto help? I'm not even extreme in this view Pentti Linkola e.g said the technical evolution has lost it's sense after inventing the axe ...

Cant answer without more detail, I can be totally conservation on one issue (for example Im totally for school uniforms and teaching children discipline) on the other hand I have no problem with civil unions for homosexuals (as long as they dont adopt children) and I would kill any prolife activist on spot if the law didnt stop me.
