People only find it interesting and controversial when I post darker people and when I post lighter people no one answers! Come on guys, classify him :)

He looks Sicilian to me. Dinaro-mediterranid with Norid.

He is depigmented but could he actually fit in North Europe?

Top picture, I don't think so. Bottom pic, maybe. But take my opinion with a grain of salt because I have never been to Sicily or most of Northern Europe.
Kinda ties in to this thread (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?83288-Why-do-some-people-think-they-know-what-average-people-look-like-in-countries-not-their-own).

He's from Caltanissetta by the way, in the center of the island. From what I have been told a lot of people in the mountainous areas of central Sicily are often lighter.

That's why blue eyes, blonde hair and skin tone are often not a definitive gauge of phenotype.

There may be more Norman influence in the inland regions but if anything, I think it's more a climate adaption. Inland Sicily is not nearly as warm as the coasts.

I had a Ukrainian American friend who resembled that guy (but from the 2nd pic.).

Interesting :) I know there was a poster who used to be here, Toretto1989 who said if you go into the very center of Sicily you find whole villages that are blue eyed and blonde.

Agree with the consensus, predominantly Norid.

Norid must have some Dinarid incorporated into it because I see some Dinarid. But there is Nordic too.

Norid/Noric = Central European Nordid with Dinarid admixture or sub-Adriatic.
