Some look French, but most look more Greek to me.

Just curious, are these randomly chosen Extremadurans? I'm not sure how typical they are.

As French much better as a group, but individually they don't look particularly French.

Yes. Why do they not look typical? They all look Iberian to me.

Had a feeling these were randomly chosen.

As a group, they look like Med Southern Europeans to me. Maybe a couple of individuals look distinctively Spanish (fitting well in neither France nor Greece).

If I was looking at a pic with these inviduals standing together as a group and you told me that they were French, I wouldn't believe you.

However, some of them could pass as French but there are more who look Greek.

They would fit in Southern France imo.

I think they look more Greek overall because average French phenotype is not that southern looking. If the choices were southern France and Greece than it's a bigger toss up but these faces don't represent France in general because France in general is more alpinid/atlantid.
