Sorry to hear that. Hope it gets restorated soon and more importantly hopefully there are no human casaulties. Reminds me of the fire on roof of a historical train station here in 2010.

I read up it has the National museum. That is a tragedy. The castle can be rebuilt, whilst historical items can't.

There was renovation going on for quite some time now, although builders claim that the fire is not their fault.

So far no clue about the cause of fire, latest reports say that the fire has been contained and stopped. Most of the museum exponates are saved as far as it is reportedin the media. That is good news. Thaank you all for kind words.

drove by it this evening... nice building with a hole on the roof :) everything was peaceful , the opposite of the drama created around it this morning...
