Let's hope Brazil wins tomorrow, for change sakes. I think people are starting to get bored...

Both have that superiority complex in the game which I don't really like, l'Italia doveva vincere....

I'll side with Spain cause they deserve more stars on their shirt (even if Confederations is just a trial).

It is said that those who win the Confederation Cup never win the WC in the following year...

Btw, I doubt the match is better than the Spain vs Italy one. A masterpiece by both teams of tactics and how to play exhausted for 120 minutes in that smothering weather. And as an English commentator said, a tutorial DVD should be done with the penalty kicks. Except for the poor Bonucci.

I hate tiki-taka and am getting tired of Spain winning everything, but Brazil's current team is so nauseatingly pretentious, headlined by the Bieber of soccer (sorry, Goetze).

Is there any way they can both lose?

Spain completely rattled & a good atmosphere. 3-0 Brazil so far.

Spain really hate teams, playing direct. It's all in your face forward football from Brazil. Almost in a British style. Long balls & everything, full pelt.

Spain is not moitvated at all. They have just won wc2010 and euro 2012. Those players of barça and real deserves more rest imho. So this score is not surprising me at all. Spain is still the best team in the world. Only germany can surpass them. This brazil is not ready yet. But they have some potential, that's for sure. I also like prandelli's team. Those 4 teams will dominate the wc next year. Teams like belgium, england, holland are outsiders.

I haven't seen it yet. Every time Germany played Spain in recent years they got beaten. This was the first time i've seen Spain being outplayed in a while... it could mean that their time has come. No one can win forever.

Last time Spain lost by 3 goals, in a competitive match, was 1985 against Wales.

500 Euros on Brazil; at 1.92

no doubt;
home advantage + Spain exhausted after Italy game;
Only thing that i questioned was whether Brazil would win it in regular time;
They did so i WON!

It just looked like the Spanish were too slow and too small. At the end there I was hoping they would salvage at least 1 goal.

They have now more experience. Remember two germans team have played the final in the champions league. Bayern and dortmund have fantastic german players. It's up to löw now. If i was the dfb president, i would fire löw and hire heynckes. But that's another story.
