Good Mothers-Night and Good Yule to my Heathen friends

:santaGood Mothers-Night and Happy Yuletide to all of my Heathen friends here. We're due to go out to a neighbourhood get-together this evening, so I'm uncertain as to whether or not our first blot will occur before we leave or upon our return. But I sure am excited!! I just finished setting up our Yule altar: 12 new red candles and our blot accoutrements all nestled amidst leftover boughs from our fresh balsam tree. I truly love this season for I find it the most grounding of all of our holy tides.

And we just bought our fresh balsam tree :xmastree this afternoon and so my home simply smells spectacular!!! And yes Loki, I'll be sure to post some pics of both once the tree is all decked out, which should be tomorrow. :)

And I haven't forgotten you Arrow Cross and your question about how one celebrates Yule. I will get to it soon. :santa2

Glaedelig Jul to everyone here, (Scots gaelic, Merry Yule) :)
I`ll put a bowl of milk and honey laced with a drop of alcohol outdoors for the landwights, stoke up the stove, cook something nice and warming and spend the day with the man I love.
That`s plenty heathen enough. ;)
