Zakopane Style Architecture - Poland

[Kazimiera]

Zakopane Style architecture (or Witkiewicz Style architecture) is a mode inspired by the regional art of Poland’s highland region known as Podhale. Drawing on the motifs and traditions in the buildings of the Carpathian Mountains, this synthesis was created by Stanisław Witkiewicz who was born in the Lithuanian village of Pašiaušė, and is now considered to be one of the core traditions of the Góral people.

I visited this place during school travel in Krakow, it was awesome, this and the salt mine of Wieliczka are a must, if I'm not too lazy I'm tempted to visit Krakow once again.
For the story, I had to be drunk the evening to catch that Zakopane means the same than Zakopan in Bosnian :picard1:
