To try to classify a person based on a sigle blurry can be very misleading.

Maltese people and western Sicilians are the same people.. the former derive from the latter. It wouldn't make a difference whether it comes from Sicily or Malta since Maltese people are Sicilians who speak a different language anyway.

After seeing another pic you posted earlier you don't look mixed to me, just Sicilian, Maltese, or other East Med (Lebanon, Cyprus type look) which is not rare for people from western Sicily.

The first picture is indeed tricky, might be because of the angle, tan, lighting or whatever. But from the other pictures she can pass as slightly atypical Sicilian/Maltese imo. What I get pissed about is that some people use "being Maltese" as an excuse for their exoticness or non-Europid looks when in reality Maltese people are mostly of Western Sicilian and South Italian descent with some families migrating also from SW Europe and rest of Italy.

OFC there are also special cases like me, being Megalithic remnants that resisted Neolithic invasion :laugh:
