KGEZ, a Montana radio station that carried the Alex Jones Show, was closed down by a federal bankruptcy judge last week. The Flathead County, Montana, Sheriff’s Office served the federal order requiring owner John Stokes to surrender the assets of the radio station, according to Daily Inter Lake. A number of police arrived at the station. It was rumored Stokes would confront authorities, but no such confrontation occurred.

Liberals have consistently portrayed Stokes as an anti-government extremist. “Stokes also hosted Michael Heit, founder of the Constitution Party of Montana, a group combining fundamentalist Christianity with the militia movement,” the Montana Human Rights Network News claimed in November, 2001.
