Thank you for the insights thus far. I am not sure what I did with the digital camera I had around here...thus, I was forced to take a couple of self snapshots with the camera on my cellphone (which is quite dull even by cellphone standards). I'll post more in a bit perhaps.

Interesting. Most folks guess I am either Irish or Scottish. I have a grandmother who was adopted. The English side I mentioned in my first post comes from her. I know of that part of her biological side, but not of her bio dad. She had a classically Irish and/or Scottish Islander/Northern Highlander North Atlantic sort of look (Very fair skin, Very dark brown wavy hair, blue eyes, and all the right combo of those Atlanto-Med traits). I have always gotten a chill at the sound of the Great Highland pipes, and a respect for Scottish culture. In addition, there is a particular Scot I'm said to have a rather uncanny resemblance with:
35903 (Kenneth Grahame, author). Genetic memory, anyone?

Because I have nothing better to do at the moment, am in a taxonomy kinda mood......and I realized the two photos I based this thread upon provide a limited scope for possible classification. Here's a couple others...one is taken at a graduation a few years back.
