Her look is (at least at my current level of casually studying these things) somewhat typical for the Southeastern US, especially the Deep South. I cannot believe she is totally "Northern European." What's your problem? You are starting to act a bit outre'. Read carefully what I wrote. There exists substantial phenotypic diversity among British people. Would you argue counter to that point?

You assume too much and, unfortunately, know too little. For certain, a majority of English are autosomally closer to Germanics and, as a consequence, phenotypically closer as well. A good percentage nonetheless resemble mainstream French and Iberians - I am not suggesting a general sameness (and you imply that I am). Keep well in mind how DNA behaves: DNA energetics act randomly, therefore, _________

I think so too. She probably looks solely like her Maltese side and as we know, Maltese are from Sicily originally. Her grandfather's surname was a Sicilian one too (Portelli).
