A plain white T-shirt

Women find a man in a plain white T-shirt up to 12 per cent more attractive, scientists claim.
A plain white T-shirt can create an illusion that broadens the shoulders and slims the waist, producing a more V-shaped body, which is a top sign of masculinity.

The highest increase in good looks were for men who were the most out of the shape, according to researchers at Nottingham Trent University.

Men who were already well toned only saw a slight increase in their attractiveness rating when they wore the white short-sleeved top with a large black letter T printed on the front.

In contrast, those wearing a top with an upside-down T, with the bar across their middle, were up to 12 per cent less attractive to women aged 18 to 25.

The results suggest shifting the focus to a man’s stomach reduces his desirability.

Nottingham Trent University psychologist Dr Andrew Dunn told the Daily Mail: “The effect was most notable for normal men with a waist as wide as their shoulders.

“Whereas with those who are already in good shape, the T was simply amplifying the body shape they already had, so the benefit was less marked.”

The team said a waist-to-chest ratio (WCR) of between 0.7 and 0.8 - where the shoulders are around 20 per cent broader than the hips - was seen as the ideal.

Dr Dunn said: “The wider barred ‘T’ seems to emphasise the upper chest when upright, which accentuates men’s ‘optimum’ shape. The opposite happens when inverted.

“WCR is one of just a number of body measures that humans use to judge attractiveness and health. Our ability to detect, process and use this information appears to be implicit.

“The brain and sensory mechanism underpinning this are probably evolved and are almost certainly managing what we look for and how we respond.”

He said that horizontal bar on the T-shirt had to be the same length or longer than the vertical bar for the most effect.
The study involved showing 30 female undergraduates, aged 18 to 25, images of five different male body shapes and asked them to mark their perceived attractiveness and health.

He added: “Clearly there are individual tastes and preferences, but we can see here how fashion could have an implicit positive or negative effect on perceived attractiveness and health.

“It suggests that you can use this kind of optical illusion that artists and fashion designers use all the time to tap into our basic sensory psychology.”

The Color Women Find Most Attractive On Men Is?

Purple, followed by black and white

A survey of over 2000 people found that one certain color makes men them irresistible to the ladies. In fact, more than a third of women say they would say yes to a date if the guy was wearing this color.

According to a survey by the detergent company Ariel, if you want to impress the ladies, wear a purple shirt.

Three in five women say that clothes are the biggest deal-breaker for a potential date. 17% said a guy’s haircut is most important and 9% said they look at his shoes.

28% of women say they’ve rejected a guy because they didn’t like what he was wearing, while only 14% of men have rejected a woman for that reason.

Here are the colors that are most likely to get a girl to say yes from The Daily Mail:

#1.) Purple: 36% of women said they were likely to accept a date from a guy in a purple shirt

#2.) Black: 32%

#3.) White: 13%

#4.) Blue: 11%

#5.) Pink: 6%

The Hollywood Physique

http://hollywoodphysique.com/private/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/clay11319.png

The author before, during, and after his 19 week experiment reverse-engineering Hollywood’s most famous and fastest transformations

How do actors get in shape so fast for movie roles?

You see an average Hollywood actor get a superhero movie role, quietly fall off the public radar for 3 to 6 months, then suddenly re-emerge out of nowhere shredded to bits and buff out of his mind… and you wonder, “How the hell did he just do that?!”

He’s somehow built more muscle and lost more fat in 3 months than you have in the past 3 years. And while you’re wondering why you can’t get results like that, your friends, family, and just about every woman on earth go absolutely insane over what he’s done.

I can tell you exactly how they do it.

And I’ll quickly let you in on these guys’ first “secret” right now: it’s literally their job. They have to be in world class shape in time for filming, or they don’t get paid. So they treat their transformations like their lives depend on it – never missing a meal (or eating anything sub-optimal), always giving everything they’ve got in their workouts, and giving their bodies all the recovery time they need.

They work out as though they’re preparing for the Olympics, and have absolutely no room for error.

But there’s more to it than that…

The problem I always ran into, though, was that I treated my own physique transformation exactly the same way. Every meal I ate was carefully calculated for maximum anabolic effect, my workouts were finely-tuned based on the latest science available, and my lifestyle allowed for lots of recovery time.

But my results didn’t come anywhere near these actors’.

And it’s not like I didn’t know my stuff. I read the same blogs, scholarly articles, studies, books, and magazines that you do now. I followed the same mass-market workout and diet programs. Nearly all my free time – thousands of hours a year – was spent studying the latest tactics. On paper, I was practically an expert… and could ramble on about muscle growth and fat loss tactics for hours on end with anyone who’d listen.

Plus I worked harder and more honestly than anyone else.

Over the years I’d gotten a LOT stronger and was in pretty damn good shape. I could squat 350 lbs for reps, do 25 unassisted pull-ups in a row with strict form, and run 10 miles at the drop of a hat. But the problem was I looked like I’d barely worked out more than a few months in my life.

I was “that guy” in my group of friends. The one obsessed with fitness who barely looked fit.

And being “that guy” sucks.

All I could think was, “How am I such a smart guy… and how can I work so hard… yet struggle so much to figure this out?”

The problem with “mainstream” tactics

Listen, obviously there’s “hard work” involved in those Hollywood transformations. But if you think they get into that kind of world class shape that fast by picking up a copy of P90X or browsing the same “basics” you and I have access to online, then you are clinically insane.

How has that stuff worked out for you so far?

That stuff is great for getting into “baseline” shape, but to get to the “next level”, actors (and the studios funding their transformations) hire some of the world’s best nutritionists and trainers – guys who make six figures per transformation they engineer. And there’s a reason they command that much money: because these are guys who know how to consistently force out absolutely unbelievable and proportionally-perfect results in even the most genetically-stubborn bodies… and do it fast as hell.

The results speak for themselves. No one gets results like these actors do for a reason.

Reverse engineering Hollywood transformations

So obviously these trainers and nutritionists aren’t publishing their tactics online.

But I would’ve done anything to get my hands on them. To know exactly what they had these actors eating, and exactly what their workouts looked like, and exactly what they did every single day to get their results. I wanted to see “a day in the life” of one of these actors going through one of those patented rapid Hollywood transformations.

I didn’t need their exact results, but it’d be nice to know how to get something at least close, right?

And since none of their real tactics were available anywhere (and trust me, I looked)…

…I reverse engineered them instead.

The process

What I mean is:

I took who I considered to be the “top” Hollywood transformations (fastest, most dramatic, highest-acclaimed results)
Deconstructed their physiques into their component parts
And set out to figure out how to reconstruct them myself – using my own body as the testing ground.
Long story short, what I stumbled on through that process were some of the most unorthodox – yet ingenious and effective – physique transformation methods I’ve ever seen. Methods for heavily accelerated muscle growth, fat loss, and six pack development that produced results well beyond anything I’d experienced before.

Over the next few pages, I’m going to go over with you exactly the methods I stumbled on and how I used them to get the results you see at the top of this page. The next few pages won’t focus on the “basics” you can find anywhere else online. Instead, we’re just going to jump right into the more advanced tactics I found by deconstructing, modeling, and reverse engineering these transformations.

My hope is that this will give you some insight and ideas into what you need to do to get to the “next level” with your results.

This is the website where the research is collated:

http://www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakultaeten/phil_Fak_II/Psychologie/Psy_II/beautycheck/english/index.htm

The unsexy face has:

Pasty complexion

Lighter eye brows

Fewer, lighter eyelashes

Less prominent lower jaw

Less prominent chin

Receding hairline

Fatter facial shape

More fat generally

Asymmetrical, less full lips

Lower half of the face more broader in relation to the upper than the sexy face

Lower cheek bones

Thicker eyelids

Wrinkles between nose and corner of the mouth (naso-labial folds)

This is what, as a man, one might want to avoid.

As a colour, purple would show off the attractive red and yellow tones of the skin, and so it makes perfect biological sense to wear a purple shirt, possibly with a white t-shirt underneath.
