^I guess he can pass as one though. Maybe not typical. I wouldn't guess him as a Croat to be honest.

Maybe he can pass in the south. He must be from Hercegovina, people there are dark in average.

I have no idea, but they look way more Balkan than proper Croats and so other Croats from B&H, especially those around Livno. I have some on 23andme list. All are of course 100% European and some know to plot northern as other Croats, but some plot with other Balkan people who are most probably Croatized very lately, probably within last several centuries. Most probably Vlachs. I can spot them from a mile way when I am in Dalmatia which is filled with Bosnian students and people.
