Okay here is the broken English translation of his post about this new calculator on Facebook.
OK, ladies and gentlemen, enough blabbing language. It's time for it to do.
So, by popular demand, I've decided to release beta version of MDL DIYkal′kulātora.
It should be noted that before making the decision to release I thought long about whether it makes sense to spread calculator and accompanying him to the Oracle version in open access. But ultimately, my vanity overcame reason.
I hasten to point out three important issues: 1) this version is fundamentally different from the betas I've been posting on the HC testing. A. Burnaševu and s. Kozlov 2) I'm not going to (so far) to embed it in the gedmatch calculators 3) most important, because of the much greater scope reference populations (a total of 429) on a global scale, this calculator will be much less informative for the Europeans (Eastern and Western), in comparison with other calculators already project at gedmatch. Most likely in their case, the calculator will display only the key historical episodes of mixing of populations. In the calculator of the cluster only 27 3-4 are relevant to typical Europeans. But (most likely) it will be the ideal tools for people with bi-and trirasovym origin, as well as Amerindians, Asians, and Africans. Others recommend accepting the results, as the English say, with a grain of salt.
For instructions on using the calculator are the same as in the basic version of the calculator from Dienekes Pontikos (these instructions can be found in his blog). The options file is called test.par.
As for Oracle, Oracle Dodecad similar commands with the only difference that the work function is called cotvetstvenno MDLOracle and MOracle2.

А то меня все к словакам кидает))
Хотя, популяции центральных и южных русских, украинцев, поляков и даже словаков в целом не сильно различаются, поэтому такая путаница.

Да, различаются, но отличия не сильно большие.
Вот южно-славянские популяции например легко выделить, так как резкие отличия.

В предыдущей версии тоже не все гладко было. К слову латыши _V были генетически ближе к укрианцам и южым русским, нежели к литовцам и эстонцам. В свою очередь молдаване были ближе к северным русским чем к украинцам и румынам. Эти разногласия в выборках, которые Веренич сам собирал.

В новой версии, как я понял из описания в блоге, он смешал выборки и у него совсем не то, что он хотел получилось. По некоторым популяциям у него были данные, а для других популяций он использовал опубликованные данные. И даже 'импутировал' отсутствующие данные. Новая версия многих совсем в другие страны забрасывает.

Ну там взяты данные меня, плюс еще протестированных людей с юга России,Центральной и так далее, которые выкладывали свои результаты)).

Вроде ближе к реальным результатам.
Поблема в том , что использовать в качестве референтных выборок людей прошедших тестирование в комерческих лабах , мягко говоря некоректно . Во первых они несопоставимы напрямую с теми которые использует Веренич , грубо говоря они просто "разной длинны" .
Во вторых некоторые из тех , кого он использует как референтных русских , грубо говоря или ими не являются , или могут иметь смешанное происхождение , например подобное было в проекте Поляко ( ru19 какой-то американец даже невладеющий русским языком , утверждавший , что возможно он на четверть еврей , потом заявивший , что он не знает на 1/4 своё происхождение. Тем не менее это не помешало Поляко использовать его в качестве реферного для "западных русских".. Не удивлюсь , что и Веренич использует в своих реферных группах подобных ( например ru10 или ru23 из eurogenes ,помнится удмурт и чуваш , если ничего не путаю) в качестве например "северных русских" . Часто одного - двух достаточно для искажения картины .

тех же самых южных русских мало протестировано, а из тех кто делал вот например на кое-какие форумы результаты отсылали.
А он откуда данные то берет?))
ВОобще ни один оракул не дал ни одного адекватного результата, на мой взгляд))
во всяком случае по моим результатам, вечно чушь какая-то))

^ Меня предыдущая версия по опубликованным популяциям точно определяла, а новая версия к чехам и немцам забросила. Лучше бы он не смешивал, а продолжал выборки держать отдельно. Но проект эксперементальный, а калькулятор пока бета версия.

I agree, there does seem something strange about this run. My results differ from the Kurdish average strangley. My North Euro is more then double, ASI is also much higher, Kalash is higher. The higher North Euro is expected due to my 1/8 Circassian ancestry, but still odly higher then expected and the ASI and Kalash should be lower due to the Circassian ancestry.
Strange data.
I almost have not seen such a results with Russians. More clearly, such a result could be found in insignificant ammount of Russians. But I have never met exactly such results.

I am unsure. I made a thread though for each Sicilian region that was sampled, and it had western, central and southern.. but not eastern Sicilians. So maybe your results are typical for Messina, I couldn't say.

Ashkenazi but I think I have Sephardi ancestors too(I have an Italian cousin on 23andme who told me he found out he has Sephardic ancestors who converted to Christianity).

I don't know how to get oracle using the R program.
I'm having the same problem. I've tried creating a test.txt file and entering these, same result. I then tried entering them into the test par file, same result. Know i've had this problem before and sorted it out somehow but can't remember how. Any other ideas?
Just in case you didn't do this already. You have to then rename the 'test.txt' file to 'test.par'

Ahh yeah it seemed something was missing, thanks. I made a new file because there was no file in the download for the 'populations', seems to be working now.

Here are my mother's. What is funny is she never scores any North African if much at all (despite Portuguese typically scoring a lot), while I always do. Which must mean my father has more than is average for Sicily. Since my mother's SW European is right about where mine is, my father must score in the same range as well, and about 9% Northern European since mine should be exactly half. He should also get about 33% Caucasus-Near Eastern.

South, about 75% of my ancestry is from southern and eastern England, and about 16% from NW, west and southwest England, 6% from Wales and 3% from Scotland. I've never been placed in Wales before by a calculator that i recall, but it is i think much more accurate than the old MDLP calculators which often put me in central Europe.

Well Dodecad K12b and Eurogenes EUtest are the most accurate for the whole of my family (and usually for others i have seen so far as well), on the latter i am pulled towards the continent because a small amount (~3%?) of unknown Italian-like ancestry makes me more southern, whereas in Dodecad K12b the same sort of thing is visible. For all of my family probably EUtest is the most accurate, followed by K12b. I think because they both factor in east-west and north-south factors a bit better, which helps to differentiate northern Europe a bit more i think. But certainly for MDLP Welsh is more accurate than me being closer to Austrians, Hungarians, Croations, Slovenians and Bosnians than to British by about 5 points.
What is your half that is described as Welsh made up of ancestrally, are you half Ashkenazi exactly also?

I usually get the craziest results with MDLP.
This MDLP is MDLP k27 which is new and it is the most accurate imo.

Thank you, Scarlet Ibis, for running it. I am approximately 9/16 British/Irish (mostly English), 1/8 Danish, 1/8 NE German (Pomerania), 1/16 German/Bavarian, 5/64 Alsatian. The rest is bits of other places and Jewish. I am curious about possible minor Finnish or other northeastern elements in the Danish family, due to some Finnish scores on 23andme and FTDNA. I get a few more distant Finnish cousins. Nothing really next door in Norway or Sweden.

By popular demand, I decided to make a beta release of a new MDL DIYkalkulyatora. Calculator is codenamed K27 by number taken as a priori ancestral components.

Let me just mention three important nuance:
1) This version differs radically from those betas that I sent for testing SW. A.Burnashevu and S.Kozlovu

3) Most importantly, by virtue of a much larger scope of reference populations (a total of 429) on a global scale, this calculator will be much less useful for Europeans (Eastern and Western), in comparison with other calculators project already on gedmatch. This is primarily due to the fact that between the main clusters of genetic diversity in Europe there is very low degree of divergence. Low degree of divergence evident in the graph MDS centroids genetic diversity of each population used (the Europeans are in a very tight cluster in the center of a large cluster on the right side of the graph)
Likely in the case of pure Europeans calculator will show the key historical episodes of mixing populations. The calculator of the 27 clusters have a value of only 3-4 for typical Europeans. But (most likely) it is an ideal tool for people with bi-and trirasovym origin and Amerindians, Asians, and Africans. Recommend taking the rest of the results, as the English say, with a grain of salt.

what are the indian components. i guess ASI,
Gedrosia_Caucasian and whats with Caucasian_Near East? Also
Papuan_Autralian and Australonesian_Melanesian are also Indian
related?
im half roma and half serbian (round up) but it doesnt really
reflect my results im like 80-90% European on the oracles, which makes
no sense. it only covered up my ASI and everything else put as
"romanian" (european ethnicity) but thats wrong. Im curious how much
Indian (all indian related ancestries) i am really or how much roma i
would turn out to be, also if i have some jewish, i do score a bit

I'm not sure if I did it right, but I downloaded the DIY program and the MDLP files, basically ran the test.par file and added the population set to test.txt, from there it says that this is Dodecad, I don't know if that's correct or not? Anyways, the results are below. Once that was finished, I ran MOracle2(c(0, 0.01, 24.56, 0.90, 0, 1.35, 0, 20.92, 0.01, 0.39, 0, 0.67, 0, 1.88, 10.76, 1.06, 0, 0, 0, 26.06, 0.30, 5.24, 0.75, 0.89, 0.32, 3.91, 0) as well as the mixed mode with my percentages and these are my results.
