The mission of the American Resistance Movement (ARM) is simple: Bring together like minded people under one banner to show solidarity in our cause.
The ARM brings the message of freedom from people, groups and organizations under an umbrella by the way of a universal emblem (banner). This serves to show our strength and unity against tyrannical government and a corrupt power structure. Each group and organization is independent of one another.

It is our message that is important not our makeup. We are all Americans together, not separated by sub-groups and divisions.

We all share common interests: Freedom, Independence and wish to lead a life of prosperity, free from the chains of tyranny, debt and servitude.

This kind of thing is exactly what American conservatism does not need. Advocating (or implying) that armed resistance to or the overthrow of the government is necessary now (aside from being of dubious legality) will do nothing to gain clout among the majority of Americans who do oppose the Progressive agenda that's been behind most post-Woodrow Wilson administrations. It will alienate conservatism and reinforce unhelpful stereotypes that conservatives are all a bunch of loons who sit in their bunkers, oiling their guns. What is needed now is for the GOP to divorce themselves from the Christian Right so that they can re-absorb the fiscally conscious Democrats and re-define themselves, once again, as the small government party.

Killing is not the be all end all, if you read their message you would understand that, they made it quite clear.. It's preparedness.

What is needed now is for the GOP to divorce themselves from the Christian Right so that they can re-absorb the fiscally conscious Democrats and re-define themselves, once again, as the small government party.
The GOP is too much in the pocket of big business, and relies on the Christian Right for votes. They will not alienate or stop appealing to this demographic anytime soon. Sean Hannity? Rush Limbaugh? Joe the Plumber? They've become a parody. The only hope is for the GOP to return to its libertarian roots, but I fear that's a "fat chance" as it were.
