Eh idunno to be honest if you asked me this question when i was kid? maybe i could tell you. Now that i'm more educated? the past seemed pretty fucked up, and the future looks to be even more fucked up especially in the west.

I would say that being interested in science and what discoveries the future could have brought, i wouldn't have minded taking a peak at what 2300 would reveal. There's just so much out there, and we've scratched only the surface.

Time travel in films/television shows gives me a headache and confuses the shit out of me. For example you'd see these television shows where people just travel forward and back into time and meet each other, change certain aspects, have two different parts of each other coexisting with another with different personalities and memories. This is where my brain really has trouble. At some point in the show the person who came back or went forward would eventually go back to their own time. Sometimes these people go back and forth between each other's time repeatedly. I'm scratching my head because wouldn't that mean that the person just went back to being non existent? How did they exist to come back from the future in the first place? How is the past still existing in some pocket universe? Are time periods just continously repeating themselves over and over?

Fuck, goddamn time travel man.

I doubt Constantine would. With Emperors before him, I would be lucky to have lions.

Since time travel to the past is said impossible, I'd only travel to the future, making use of the laws of relativity. Oh, space, the final frontier. I'd explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, boldly go where no man has gone before.

I'd travel to about 625 a.d. Arabia, take my knowledge of the Qur'an with me, pretend to be one of the most loyal followers of Muhammad. Go into battle with him, gain his complete trust. Then i'd lodge a blade right in his spine, just to see if a miracle would occur to spare him.

I'd travel back to March of 1998 to tell myself not to eat the meal that gave me food poisoning. That was a horrible time. Even the Holocaust doesn't compare to my suffering.

LOL Valhala

Since the travel to the past is not possible nor the travel to the future where you meet yourself is also not possible writers can write whatever they want and it does not have any foothold in the reality so there is no reason to ask serious questions and scratch your head. It is all about writing the show. Travel to the future where you do not encounter your future self is possible of course.

Back to the time when humankind discovered fire. I would bring a matchbox with me.

Back to 34 A.D and tell everyone I'm the second coming of Christ.

Why 34? Why not 66?

A Christ resurrecting periodically makes much more sense to me.
