Is Queen Sofia fully Greek? If I'm not mistaken, the former royal family of Greece was of Danish origin and princes and princesses often married other royals from outside their home country ( I suppose this applies to Juan Carlos as well).

She is not exactly spanish-greek. Royals are very mixed people, including the spanish and greeks ones.

They hail from France, just like the Swedish family, Bernadotte which also originates in France. But the amount of French blood is marginal in both families.

You're forgetting Greek and belonging to a royal family you'll have to add many, many other ethnicities.

Looking just a bit back and I found out that she's of Russian, German and Danish ancestry but there are probably many, many other ethnicities represented if you look further back.

Despite being mixed with other ethnicities, her features remind me of the spanish futsal goalkeeper Luis Amado, so i guess she has a spanish look as well.
