Six Israeli settlers have attacked and badly injured a Palestinian shepherd and his son in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, reports say.

The Monday assault happened outside the village of Michmas near the city of Ramallah, where the settlers took away 47-year-old Nagheh Thanjbeh and his son in a car at knife-point and brutally beat them.

The attackers then stabbed the man in the head and broke all his fingers. They also fractured the boy’s hands and killed two sheep belonging to them. The victims have been shifted to a Ramallah hospital.

In recent years, Israeli settlers in the West Bank have often assaulted Palestinians and vandalized their property. However, the Tel Aviv regime rarely detains the assailants.

The Israeli regime maintains a defiant stand on the issue of its illegal settlements on Palestinian land as it refuses to freeze settlement expansion. Tel Aviv has come under repeated and widespread international condemnation over the issue.

More than half a million Israelis live in over 120 illegal settlements built since the 1967 Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Human rights groups accuse Tel Aviv of ignoring complaints by the victims of settler attacks.

"reports say". Which reports? No exact date, no source and a picture from may 2012. It's probably Mikhmas, not Michmas which is a small town, not a village, near Ramallah. The cabinet, Knesset and most government offices sit in Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv.
Searching for "Nagheh Thanjbeh" I came up with nothing except the usual garbage websites which refer back to presstv.
I'll wait for decent reports, and they will come in. Or...Maybe it's the Iranian spy satellite with Shah-Jehan inside holding a toy telescope which picked up that information.
There's actual information from Israeli human rights groups which provide most if not all the information regarding human right abuses in the west-bank, which I support politically and supported financially.

Every stupid post on Islam should bare you name.

And by the way, yes, it was reported in all major Israeli newspapers reported a Palestinian farmer ajeh Abu Ali was attacked near Migron, not with his kids on sunday sourcing Israeli human right groups.

I suggest you quote my full post, and in the first place use decent sources, and if you're going to do so in hindsight, fix the details.
Other than that, yes it is a criminal and terrible attack. As far as the police and the settlers go, it's a complex relationship.

That's irrelevant, nothing can excuse such an attack.

quality and reliability; occurred on Sunday morning; reported in Israeli newspapers Sunday afternoon. Presstv concludes: happened on Monday, Sunday is a Zionist hoax. You may also add a car and family members for dramatic effects.

I could laugh all day at dishonest clowns, but there is a real issue with the west bank. It's a political and moral catastrophe.
