...Pretty late with this but might as well get this subforum rolling even just a little:
A noctilucent cloud is an unusual phenomenon of the Earth's upper-atmosphere. They are most often seen at times close to the summer solstice, when they appear against the backdrop of deep evening twilights.
While Maciej Winiayczyk was filming them in the skies above Caithness, the aurora borealis also put on a vivid display.
