(http://www.thelocal.se/16560/20081224/)TheLocal.se (http://www.thelocal.se/16560/20081224/): For the second night running unrest broke out in the Stockholm suburb of Tensta. A massive police presence managed to gain control of the situation in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

The Local reported on Tuesday that the fire service had come under attack from stone-throwing youths in the predominantly immigrant-occupied area of Tensta in north west Stockholm on Monday evening.

When police units arrived at the scene youngsters were found to have set fire to car tyres, rubbish bins and a skip.

Jannes Hedlund at Stockholm county police described Tuesday's rioting as in principle a repeat of the events of the night before.

"Among other things they had set fire to a skip and thrown a Molotov cocktail at a police vehicle," Hedlund said.

The police were prepared for the possibility of renewed unrest and had deployed eight specially trained units to the area. Hedlund said that he believed that similar preparations were in force for any potential trouble on Christmas Eve.

Several cars were also set alight in Vårberg in southern Stockholm, although local police were not connecting the incidents to the unrest in Tensta.

I feel like I´ve read this story 14 times already. What the hell is up with Sweden? They let dangerous hooligans into their great nation and do nothing as immigrant youths destroy their historic city one sector at a time...

Well the Swedish coverage of immigrant riots still isn't as bad as the French coverage of immigrant riots. Whenever the Arabs and Africans in France riot and cause trouble they're actually referred to as "French youths"

Oh good grief! Why is there such a total lack of respect by these 'youth' for property and the right of an owner/businessman to change his mind and do something else with his property?

I am constantly amazed at the riots that happen in Europe. Just a sign of things to come perhaps for us here in North America. :(

I'm sorry that this is happening in your home country Arctic Fox. It must be incredibly maddening.

Cheers for now!...Aemma

Well unlike our ''Sophisticated'', Tea-Sippin', speedo wearin', manicure-takin' European male counterparts...

We have one thing that sets us apart. :)

We got more guns than we know what to do with them! :) We have so many we can shooting them off into space and still have enough to arm every single man, woman, child and dog. :thumb001:

LOL! This doggie pic slays! Gives a whole new meaning to those signs: "Beware of Dog" LOL!

At any rate, you forget TheGreatest that these gun laws only apply to the USA. We have quite the different gun laws here in Canada. There is no such thing in our Constitution about the right to bear arms (only those of the limb variety ;)). That is very much part of your culture but not a Canadian's just so our European friends are aware. :)

Cheers for now!...Aemma

From what I understand, Finland has more guns per capita than the United States.

I personally don´t own a gun though. I´d rather bury the blade of an axe into the head of an attacker than shoot him. :p

And interesting enough, Finland doesn't have immigrants rioting. I wonder why?
