Custom User Ranks/Permission Groups

I have added some custom user ranks for members who want to use them. They are linked to publicly joinable usergroups, and you can add them here:

Settings > My Settings > Permission Groups

You can join or leave these usergroups as you please.

Special thanks to the very artistic Hilda who has created all these images for us! :thumb001:

Rules:

1. Only a maximum of two custom usergroups can be used at any time. Members who ignore this rule could face penalties, like their ability to use such usergroups taken away.

1. Dimensions are to be 128 x 22 pixels. No bigger will be accepted. This is NOT negotiable.

2. Don't say: I want a permission group for XXX and expect me to do it.

Make one yourself or even better, get together with someone else who is creative and come up with one together.


3. VERY IMPORTANT!! NO groups relating to political movements both past and present.

I say in advance: NO Nazi groups will be accepted. The answer is NO.


4. No duplicate groups

Example: if 3 people come up with 3 different banners for the same thing, only ONE will be loaded. You must decide among yourselves which banner is best. I won't load 3 banners for the same thing.


5. Submitting of banners

Once you have made a banner, you can submit it on this thread for consideration. This way other people can see what has been suggested and approve or critique it.


6. The background should be transparent.

Make the background transparent. It might not seem like it makes much of a difference when you create the group, but once it is loaded the white background becomes very apparent.

Before you start getting creative, here are some pointers...

1. Dimensions are to be 128 x 22 pixels. No bigger will be accepted. This is NOT negotiable.

2. Don't say: I want a permission group for XXX and expect me to do it.

Make one yourself or even better, get together with someone else who is creative and come up with one together.


3. VERY IMPORTANT!! NO groups relating to political movements both past and present.

I say in advance: NO Nazi groups will be accepted. The answer is NO.


4. No duplicate groups

Example: if 3 people come up with 3 different banners for the same thing, only ONE will be loaded. You must decide among yourselves which banner is best. I won't load 3 banners for the same thing.


5. Submitting of banners

Once you have made a banner, you can submit it on this thread for consideration. This way other people can see what has been suggested and approve or critique it.


6. The background should be transparent.

Make the background transparent. It might not seem like it makes much of a difference when you create the group, but once it is loaded the white background becomes very apparent.
