I haven't said it in a while so here it goes. Trans-Mediterranean. He was phoenician ffs, the phenotype range is correlated to basically every phoenician migration to South Europe and North Africa. I don't understand how he could be Berberid at all since that was the native Afalou north african type not related to phoenicians. Nothing Upper Paleolithic about this man.

-High-Skulled, long face and oval-shaped head.
-Higher forehead than Gracile Mediterranean.
-high-bridged leptorrhine nose.
-Meso-dolichocephalic (I assume i'm not a fkn ruler, if not then italian alpinoid influence).
-Not robust like Atlantomeds/Berberids.
-Curly dark hair
-Tendecy to a slightly more tan complexion (according to portraits, he could tan very well).

he wasn't phoenician, he was from a punic background which means his family and people talked a neo-punic dialect. The same way many north africans talked perfectly latin like Saint Augustine it doesn't mean they were italians living in Africa. Also it should be said that "punic" during the time of Septimius severus and later was synonymous of berber :

It's totally ridiculous to believe the man was phoenician while the last time they came was 1000 years before his birth lol

Still not berberid. Caracalla maybe partially but not his father.
