Vukovar Film Festival becomes a significant representation of one of the most vibrant cinema world - films Danubian countries. Screening of films on banks of the river. Film titles will be screened at Vukovar's most popular sandy beach on Danubian island called Ada, Danube river barge, The Terrace of Agency for Waterways, the gym home Nobel laureate, Idea's hospitality in the spirit of friendly atmosphere and authentic culinary specialties invited to socialize and that Vukovar and the Danube have that "something" that can not be described in words. It can only be experienced.
All professional films from Danube region countries can participate in the competition part in three categories: long feature, short feature and documentary films. The countries included in competition are, in alphabetical order: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Ukraine. It also includes countries closely connected to Danube region: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, MonteNegro and Slovenia.
