Would fit quite easily here in Sweden.

More Danish (or North-German) than Swedish IMHO.

But her second name (a very rare one) is from SW France / Gascony, France's darkest area (BTW she was born in Bayonne, French Basque country).

Yes she would fit easily in Denmark too, but it's pretty much like the same. I would not look twice if I saw her here.

Medina is a gascon surname? I'm pretty sure it's spanish, even if exists here too. In other words, there is a strong possibility that she is one of those people you hate.

I'm not sure, but it seems that the name Médina actually comes from her husband Pascal Médina, so Maya Lauqué-Médina.

You're just too much really...

Her maiden name is Lauqué, typical Gaschon ie French.
Unfortunately she's married to Pascal Médina, a Spaniard.

More probably a Frenchman born of Iberian immigrants.

31 people with Medina as second name were born in France in the years 1891-1915.
1319 in 1966-1990...

Hey mate you have a serious problem. :icon_rolleyes:

1. Your Portuguese buddy emits the hypothesis that Maya might be part Iberian since she calls herself Lauque-Medina.
2. You grant a thumb-up for that.
3. The hypothesis is sadly proven wrong (Medina is actually the husband's name).
4. Your response: "let the nonsensical flow of hate and delusional thinking go on. Some are just deranged mountebanks."
This I call overreacting.
Oh and you forgot: "Coon's fault".

Just spot on. Hilarious how well you managed to describe this guy and many other Iberians here in just a few sentences.

I thought you were implying her gascon second name was Médina. What is the gascon second name you meant then?

She reminds me of Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Current Danish prime minister. Maya looks like a younger version of her.
