In my opinion is like a CM+Pontid or viceversa, but it's difficult to say.

He looks odd for Greeks to me.

Thank you for your classifications. In my opinion he can fit in Turkey but also he looks very Greek to me. Maybe he doesn't look 100% greek due to his UP traits. I saw him yesterday in the basketball match, and I was curious about his classification.

Thank you very much! :)

He does look Turkish, in part because of his eyes.

Robust Pontid and CM with residual Turanid.

He can fit also in Turkey due to his eyes. His eyes look so turkish, but also because the CM part in my opinion makes him darker. In the side photos I've seen he looks more CM/UP but he is more Pontid I think. So robust also.

Not really, his type of eyes is quite common for Pontids.

In the second and third photo he looks more exothic, maybe due to his eyes in my opinion. The image that people has of a turkish person is near to this:

I don't think this. Maybe most of the turkish people looks more exothic or darker than the other, but Turkey has a lot of diversity. We can take a look in Galatasaray from Gokhan Zan -a Robust Iranid-, from Sarioglu -a blue-eyed player-, to Altintop or Umut Bulut, even Gokhan Gonul. Most of the people wouldn't say Sarioglu is turkish of a lot of people would said Gonul can fit in Western Europe, even in Spain...

This is about diversity.

He is uncommon for Greece I think.

In my opinion he is not so extrange in Greece, but he is not the typical greek for sure. I've edited my last message with more information. :)

Well generally, I think eyes in Pontid areas (Bulgaria, Romania, South Ukraine, Greece,...) are smaller than eyes in Anatolid/Armenid areas (major component of Turks).

As I said there is a lot of diversity there, but most of the turkish have bigger eyes, it's true. There are other types that not. You have to see Umut Bulut for example. Also Gokhan Zan is a turkish CM, but is more a Robust Iranid. But yes, in the Anatolid-Armenid areas I think most of the eye types are bigger than Pontids. Maybe this is the difference with Printezis.

Not sure about this one.

Really tall people--especially really tall Greeks--often look "weird." What are the odds of a 6'9" Greek basketball player also being one of the very few Greeks with Turanid admixture? Probably not very high.

A while back somebody posted an Albanian B-ball player with something similar going on. Must be a Balkans thing--a tall, Sinanthropus-looking UP type.

Personally I don't see Turanid in him... Compare to these two Turanid Tajiks for example... I see no similarity:

Giorgos's eyes are smallish, but for Mediterranean standards only. Not out of range of European diversity...

I don't know is he can pass as spanish, but if he was in Spain (100% spanish) people would said CM+Atlanto-Med. Obviously he doesn't look as greek as other because he is 206 cm. tall. Greek's average is 178 cm. -the same as Spain-, so we can say he is not so normal there :)

Pontid/East Med-CM. Odd looking, really swarthy. Doesn't look Turkish to me.
