The Syrian military forces have killed an al-Nusra Front ringleader in the western province of Latakia.

Abu Dajan al-Libi who was heading al-Nusra operations in Rif Latakia was killed in clashes with the Syrian army forces in the Ghamam district.
The Syrian army has started a series of massive operations to purge the terrorists in Reef Latakia, Aleppo, Idlib and Rif Dimashq.
The conflict in Syria started in March 2011, when sporadic pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of western and regional states.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has been launching a rhetoric war against the Syrian government, threatening to bomb the country over conflicting reports of a chemical attack on August 21 which Washington quickly blamed on the Syrian army.
Despite Obama administration expressing confidence that the Syrian government was responsible for the attack on August 21, a leaked US military document showed there was evidence that the attack was a false-flag operation by al-Qaeda to open the way for US military intervention in Syria.
US government is facing with an increasingly opposing public opinion and international calls, not fire flames of a wider conflict in the Middle East and stick to practical political solution to help end the war.
