I like the way ants/bees/wasps etc form sophisticated colonies. There's a guy named Edward O'Wilson who has studied ants all his life and makes comparisons to human behaviour. Very fascinating.

A centipede is not an insect though there is no difference between them what you actually can see, all these our micro brothers and sisters like each other, and that sounds so cute :)

They are nasty though. Their bloodlust is unrivaled.


This centipede is nervous and jumpy and may shoot around if it is interfered with. It is carnivorous and aggressive, feeding on almost everything it encounters that it can kill. It is capable of overpowering not only other invertebrates such as insects and even tarantulas, but also vertebrates which include lizards, frogs, snakes, birds, mice, and even bats.
