Where do they fit best? Spain, Southern Italy or Germany?

He's quite typical yes. He is a lombard. Overall these people represent quite well what north Italy was/is.

We have this look here in the u.s., I wouldn't even call it rare, frankly....might be one of the more recognizable Italian looks at least where i'm at.

It's amusing how people think of south Germans as some kind of Atlanto-Med-Alpinoid-Dinarid swarthy mixes whilst North Italians are half Nordic Sub-Nordids/Borrebys. When the truth is that there is a rather sharp boundary between Germany/Austria and North Italy, with the latter being ofc significantly more Med and darker.

As for the topic, I would say Germany but they would fit the best in central Italy(Tuscany, Marche etc).

As a german myself i would definetly say they are not from germany. Their faces are very uncommon here. My best guess is Italy.

I would still say collectively these faces don't represent southern Italy or italy for that matter, but perhaps more northern than any part of italy. One german person sasy that he doesn't see any of these faces where he lives but that doesn't mean they don't exist there. Facially and pigmentation these people look more german to me than Italian. Would these faces fit in France, I would say yes.

I actually travel a lot in germany. These faces are very uncommon in all parts of germany. That doesn't mean they aren't german but their look is uncommon here and therefore not representative for any part of germany. Even if it's not one of the choices, they look North Italian. And don't take it the wrong way, but i've seen a lot more 100% germans and 100% north italians than you as an american.
