Southern european. You can tell he has some northern european admixture due to his piercing blue eyes

I think he does, but light eyes is not uncommon among the ancestors of Canaanite people (Syrians, Lebanese, etc)

All Western Jews (European, Iberian and Northwest African) have substantial European ancestry (plus minor Berber) at various levels. This guy still has a Near Eastern face IMO, very Jewy. The pigmentation doesn't matter because light features are found in all MENA people: my dentist is Levantine muslim and is lighter than most Europeans are.
