Watching old television programmes hosted by the likes of Chris Tarrant and Jasper Carrott which used to have us in stitches taking the piss out of Japanese, American and Europe proper television shows was so much fun.

Oh how we laughed at the Japanese making each other run around assault courses and hurting each other to win some paltry prize and 5 mins of fame. How we ridiculed those stupid yanks for their BIG BOLD AND LOUD programming that really contained nothing....it left you empty and confused. As for the continental Europeans, we just thought them obsessed with sex, faeces and fashion.

Turn on the British telly today and you realise we've actually become part of the parody with millions each day watching this rubbish.

Japan are just plain strange. I saw a programme where they even have vending machines where you can buy used schoolgirl underwear!! O-o

Japs are so weird!
I really need to visit that nut house some day, it's one of the countries that I admire the most.
Not for all the weird stuff but they are very proud of their country and heritage and keep Japan Japanese even though they are Americanized to some extent (mainly economically). It's hard to explain but I guess you know what I'm talking about.

Also, remember how all the politicians say immigration is good for the economy?
Japan has almost zip immigration yet is the second richest country in the world, go figure.
