How are Polynesians classified? He surely looks nothing like Abo/Anglo mixes I've seen. This guy's face could pass in many places of Latin America.

1. Aboriginals are not related to Polynesians/Melanesians linguistically, genetically or culturally.

2. Sonny's mother is Samoan, and they have a considerable amount of European genetic admixture. They are mostly half-caste and quarter-caste from what I can tell (much the same with Maoris/Aboriginals); and are predominantly Paleo-Mongolid/Polynesid.

3. Well according some migration theories the Polynesian sailors reached the shores of South America around 800-1200AD and some genetic studies have linked Indigenous tribes in Brazil with Polynesians:

I don't really see him as Amerindian-looking though (if anything more "Eurasian"); maybe some more pictures would clear it up:

I really have no idea how Polynesians are classified :D I was hoping to find out with this thread.

Yeah he seems to have significant Euro admixture, with the tank traits of polynesians.
