He is from Sciacca, in Agrigento, the town that has produced the first Sicilian on 23andme that I have seen to cluster outside of Europe in the "Druze" plot, and the first one to have over 1% SSA.

So, with that said, classify this other guy from that same town. And say where he fits.

Plucking his eyebrows, what a waste!

Anyway, he's the kind which actually has a pan-med looks (unlike the majority which retains clear Euro traits).

It's my ethnicity so of course they will be my main focus on this board? Idiot.

I think he's too Middle Eastern to be Greek as well. I think he would fit in Malta and Cyprus but otherwise I do think he looks non-Euro.

I've seen Ashkenazis like him though.

I definitely would picture him in Cyprus first. There are Ashkenazis who look like him, but this is also more Middle Eastern than the Ashkenazi average.

He fits in Cyprus because of their Levantine origin, as I think it is a Levantine look. I don't think Cypriots really look Greek overall.

Cypriots, I think are the closest people to the Levantines of antiquity.

The Druze are actually. The Cypriots are around 1/3 South Euro.

Looks very Lebanese or something like that, I would have never though of him begin Sicilian. I guess Sicilian can be this exotic?

No, Druze are mixed with Arabs, and Iranians. South Euro in Cypriots is old, they're the closest people to the original Levantines.

Do you think he looks European at all?

He does look Levantine which is why he can pass as Jewish but not as Greek.

The South Euro in Cypriots was always there due to their location. Druze don't have the added European admixture.

Yeah, and there was more Euro in the ancient Levant. Like almost everywhere in the Mediterranean, they got darker in the past 2000 years.

He looks Kurdish, Persian, Pashtun, in this direction. Dinaromed.

I'm sure someone like Frank Sinatra would be much more common in Sicily.
