what are the traditional foods for Christmas eve(or Hanukkah, Eid, Yule, Kwanza and Shawwal) in your country?

in Lithuania we have 12 dishes and we're not supposed to eat meat(a tradition my family broke every year, since we always had a roasted goose)
most of the dishes were fish(don't understand why that doesn't count as meat) and all sorts of salads and other vegetable dishes.

the desert might include all sorts of pastries or cakes, but the most important one is Kūčiukai(sweet pastries made from leavened dough and poppy seeds) with poppy-seed milk.
