In Spain we have this surname (Maceda) and other similar surname, which sounds 100% Scotch xD: Maqueda.
Curiously, there was a Real Madrid player named Juan José Maqueda, which coincided with Maceda in his last years on the team

It does happen here. It goes from Blonde, to dirty blonde, to a darker shade. Then grey.
