He's Anatolian Greek judging by his surname.

I think he is Pontid though. I do see Berid in some of the others, which make them look almost Spanish.

They look like a composite of generic Southern European types, Balkanite types and notable Anatolian and Kavkazian influences. Once again, the lack of blondism among the Greeks is pretty striking, even when compared to Spaniards and Italians.

Well a few including this one have something Eastern European going on.. maybe it is Gorid. As for the others, I think Pontid is the dominant element in most.

I've noticed players look always strange in those close-up shootings.
