Where do you think this 'gypsy' kid can be from?

You've probably seen her in the news.

Maria is the focus of a global Interpol investigation after she was found in Tabakou gipsy settlement near Farsala, central Greece, during a drug and gun raid last week. Police grew suspicious about Maria because she bore no resemblance to the couple claiming to be her parents. DNA tests showed she is not related to them. The girls’ “parents” have been charged with abduction and placed in detention, awaiting trial.
Some suggest she could be Scandinavian, others think she looks like she's from the Baltic area or even America. (To be fair, blonde hair and blue eyes are not at all unusual among the international Roma community, which is believed to number up to 20 million people across Europe, with a particularly heavy concentration in Romania and Bulgaria).

At first, the "parents" said the child is from Bulgaria, but this hasn't been confirmed.

Her pigmentation (mostly her pink skin) is uncommon among Bulgarian children. They usually have light or medium brown hair and pale or light olive skin.

She's a bulgarian gypsy, it's official. Her older sister is blonde too but has clear gypsy facial features.

I'm Norwegian so I have obviously seen a lot of Scandinavian kids. The first thought that hit me when I saw her pictures was central/eastern European.
She would be atypical here.
