At first glance, the price of EUR 2 million for a Mediterranean island with private beaches, a forest and its own monastery, seems low. However, it has been on the market for three years and the owners did not find a buyer yet.

This island is Daksa in Croatia, where 48 people accused of cooperation with the Nazis were brutally murdered in 1944.

Legend says that their spirits are still on the island and demand justice. Until today, however, it has not been clarified why the residents of the island were killed. Current owners do not live on the island, and even in the peak of summer season few people go there.

The island of 485 acres is located in the vicinity of Dubrovnik and is completely uninhabited.

lol @ the ghosts of nazi collaborators demanding justice. Unless they didn't that's fucked up if they weren't. A lot of people were killed for collaborating at the end of the war, a lot of them probably did, a lot of them probably didn't. This almost always happens at the end of a conflict and its sad. Anyway I haven't got that kind of money.
