To me the worst thing about this book is not its ideological content, however silly it may be, but how bad it is written.

Yes, long time ago. There's not much to say. Hitler's opinions, observations, predictions, etc. If you are interested in Hitler, his beginnings, development of his ideas and so on, it's a great book, because he wrote it.

Boring book if you're a person who doesn't agree with A. Hitler's views. Oratory talent he was, he was not a good writer.

Well as Ive seen till now, it is historical and autobiographical book, in which de fuhrer expreses his opinion and his political ideas. Dont know what kind of evidence are you looking for? anyway there are many things which are acceptable but the jewish thing is kind of not that much real as Hitler thought.

Well you literature experts, that book was one of the most famous book in history and the book which had so much influence in Germany to convince people in that way with his political views.

The parts with his Political views are very interesting but some parts in which he did write about the realations between Germany and other states it was just lame for me.

At its very inception this movement depended on the deception and betrayal of one's fellow man; even at
that time it was inwardly corrupt and could support itself only by constant lies....Hitler states in an
early edition of "his" book (a book written in the worst German I have ever read, in spite of the fact that it
has been elevated to the position of the Bible in this nation of poets and thinkers): "It is unbelievable, to
what extent one must betray a people in order to rule it."

A lot of what comes across as "bad writing" could probably be chalked up to the difficulty of translating German into whatever your native tongue happens to be.

Nevertheless it does contain some timeless and frighteningly foreboding quotes.

"The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation." p.403

I've read many excerpts of it online, and other parts of it at bookstores and libraries. It is obviously well-written(in the grammatical and phonetical sense) but it's a crying shame the guy didn't put his high intelligence to much better use.

It's largely polemical, but it's still rather eloquent.
