I'm not sure the demographic breakdown of Okinawans vs. others. My grandmother was from Osaka, but she met my grandfather there during the full occupation in the late 1940's, whereas I would expect later generations to come more from Okinawa where we have maintained a larger military presence.

Also not sure about the relative darkness of Okinawans vs. others. Those who have significant amount of native/aboriginal ancestry, may very well be darker, especially once exposed to sunlight on a regular basis.

This is a tough one for me. While I consider Butlerking to be a ridiculous person he got one thing right: (East) Asian women aren't remarkably good looking. Epicanthic folds, flat faces and yellow'ish skin tone are not pretty features in my book. I also think they are too short, frail and lack feminine curves. At the very least I consider them to be among best looking Asians, but that's not a huge compliment. European men who like them are quite often insecure. Even a complete loser feels manly when standing next to a little Asian woman.

IMO, on average, Korean girls are the hottest. They really care a lot about their looks and a lot have good features.

People who say Japanese typically are basing their opinions from Japanese pornstars or anime, or what not. Most Japanese girls I've seen are not really hot, some are really cute, but then they are rarely really sexy.

Northerners think we're southerners (because of culture and their impressions) and people like Cantonese think we're northerners (because of culture and physical appearance). I wouldn't know too much, I mean I've heard stories but it doesn't really apply to my family. We're a lot more traditional compared to most families from there anyway. But that might be because my mother's parents moved away from Shanghai and left her to be raised by grandparents. And my father's family would also be considered reactionary or very conservative for a family from Shanghai.

In some ways it's similar except men are more apathetic and women are more active in domestic life. Men just handle problems by saying, 'whatever who gives a fuck' and follows his wife's advice or just ignoring it. Pretty much similar to most East Asian families.
