Im afraid that's not true for some countries, like Poland for instance. Google miss Poland 2013 on images and you will see that she is darker than the OP.

I was referring to Italy of course, where light hair and eyes is something "special".
I still think that facial features and body type are way more important, and this girl has just a normal face to my eyes, i know much better girls.

She must get her look from an Ionian Greek ancestor. A lot of the ancient Greek tyrants in Sicily, for instance, of Ionian descent were blonde.

Honestly, to me Chillemi has a North African/Berberid element to her. It is apparent in photos where she has less makeup.

Always consider that Messina was one of the most important Mediterranean ports. At a certain stage in history Messina was even more important than Palermo and Catania, and in 1908 was almost destroyed by an earthquake, about 80 000 deaths out of 140 000 inhabitants, more than half.

Errori... durante la conquista Normanna Messina fu più importante sia di Palermo che di Catania e Siracusa. Poi a conquista completata Palermo ne diventò la capitale e tutto il resto lo sappiamo. Tutto questo semplicemente per dire che non ci si può aspettare di trovare a Messina il 100% di discendenti del periodo greco, perché fu un porto importante (e come tutti i porti ospitava comunità di ogni provenienza, questo vale anche per Venezia e Genova) e perché il terremoto del 1908 ne uccise quasi il 60% della popolazione.
