THey look like a Asiatic Alpinids. With the exception of that dude with the green suit . Who looks rather Iranid with CM admixture.

Most would probably fit in Lebanon and surrounding areas.

Do you think Armenians might be close to how Anatolians would have looked thousands of years ago? I wonder if they are a good proxy also for the Neolithic farmers, and Sicily's Elymian population.

I think so, I mean Armenians are one of the most ancient people of Anatolia and even nowadays there are plenty of Armenoids in Turkey. They call themselves Turks but they are actually Turkified Armenians. To tell you the truth, I dont know enough about the Elymians lol

Ancient Greeks thought they were Trojan refugees, but they were probably just a native Anatolian settler group.. interesting thing is, people in that part of Sicily have a lot of "Caucasus" haplogroups, so you have to wonder.

Well the photos of these people are very diverse. There are some obviously Middle Eastern people there, so as a group I can't possibly claim they could pass in Europe.
