Have you ever felt that the Liars were always winning? That being Honorable was to your disadvantage?


If I withhold my vengeance,
And greater ills befall;
Can it be said
That I'm to blame?
Was virtue served at all?

If I deal retribution,
And say I serve the King,
Is my defence
What might have been
From evils unfelt sting?

Venom hath its' vile work wrought,
The wicked rule the night.
And I observe
Truth's armies flee.
Confronted by such might.

Rumor hath its' damage done
And evil wins the day;
Will no one stand?
Will no one fight?
Must it all end this way?

Enraged, as I march forward,
Unto the coming horde;
I may not win.
I do not care.
I scream and draw my sword.

The horror stops before me,
Uncertain at this test;
Who is this man
Who stands alone?
Has Truth now sent its' best?

And in that moments silence,
I hear Truth call to me:
"Those serve me best
Who love, not hate,
So stay your sword and see."

"I knew this day was coming,
To me it's no surprise.
The time is here,
Just stand and wait,
And watch with open eyes."

Thus from the throne of justice
The thunder doth arise;
I'll stand aside
And still my voice
While judgement rends the skies.
